According to Press reports the principal members of

the new government gave an interview to Chinese and Japanese

newspapermen on 27th December during the course of which

Tang rh Ho in reply to a specific enquiry stated that where

foreign affairs were concerned the new government would have

regard to the attitude of the other party. They would enter

into intercourse with such countries as were willing to have

intercourse with them and in other cases would maintain

personal relations.
